Pre-Career Fair Workshops

In preparation for the upcoming 2008 Semi-Annual CDSE Career Fair CDSE will be hosting a series of free employment workshops. These workshops will empower students with the tools and knowledge to make a good impression on the employers that will be attending the career fair. There are three workshops to choose from:

#1: Write an Effective Resume & Cover Letter

Sign up for this workshop to learn how to make your resume and cover letter shine. During this workshop a CDSE counselor will discuss how to format the features of your resume for positive results.

#2: Prepare for the Interview

Never interviewed for a job? This workshop will provide you with the information you need to prepare for the job interview. Topics will range from what to wear during the interview to how to present yourself to the employer. You will also learn what to do after the interview.

#3: Dress for Success

Learn how to combine contemporary classics with the latest trends to develop your own style. In this workshop, learn about the basics and get tips from Banana Republic's professional experts to make a great first impression. Unlike the other two workshops, this workshop will only be offered once. This one is sure to fill up fast so sign up today.

All workshops will be held in Queen Liliuokalani Center for Student Services (QLCSS) in Room 208. Register to attend by calling (808) 956-7007 or email cdse@hawaii.edu. Students are encouraged to bring a pen or pencil to take notes during the workshop. All workshops will last approximately 1 hour.
